Planner’s comments
It was very satisfying to see so many people out enjoying a very good Saturday afternoon. Approximately 170 people went round the various courses. It was particularly pleasing to see the number of people for whom this was their first venture into orienteering. I hope it proved fun and that you will come back to another event. My thanks to everyone who turned out to partake in the event and for making the effort of planning so worth while.
An event at Bonaly is always somewhat ‘uphill’ at times and so it was good to see people mostly coming back in good spirits.
My thanks must also go to all those assisting to make the event the success it seemed to be, with special thanks to Janet Clark for organising, Simon Firth for planning the courses with me and to Katy Lessells for controlling.
