It was a delight to see so many young families enjoying the event, proving once again that orienteering really is a sport for all which can be enjoyed by anyone from a toddler upwards, each at their own pace and each getting something out of it. It is especially rewarding from the age of about eight upwards, when a child can really have the satisfaction of completing a course on their own, in a safe environment. We hope you will enjoy lots more of these events.
Keep an eye on http://www.eastofscotlandorienteering.org for the programme of local events throughout the year and on http://www.esoc.org.uk for more information about ESOC and its varied provision for all ages.
