Membership information

We would love you to consider joining our orienteering club! ESOC is a friendly and very active club, and joining us will give you a whole range of benefits. You will be made very welcome and it would be great to have you on board!

  

Group membership information

You do not need to be a member of a club to participate in orienteering, but joining an orienteering club brings many benefits. As well as information and social events, membership gives contact with people who will share their enthusiasm for the sport, and their experience, giving support and guidance when needed. If you wish to join ESOC, you will be very welcome.

  

About the club

ESOC is a large and very active orienteering club in East Central Scotland. The age span of members is over 80 years and we offer something for everyone whatever their age, fitness or orienteering skill level.

ESOC’s Permanent Orienteering Courses

ESOC's Permanent Courses are at: Corstorphine Hill, Blackford Hill, Bonaly, Cammo, Hillend and Castlelaw (in the Pentland Hills).

  

ESOC Incorporate as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO)

The assets of the club were formally transferred to the new SCIO on Saturday 14 March 2020.
