ESOC organised the second event in the 2018 Scottish Orienteering League – with glorious weather, a good turnout of helpers, and logistical difficulties solved, everyone enjoyed the day.

West Midlands, 30 March - 2 April

The 51st Jan Kjellström Festival of Orienteering was held at Cannock Chase, in Staffordshire. Around 40 ESOC members competed in the individual events, with some excellent results.

The first event of 2018’s Scottish Orienteering League was part of the Scottish Spring weekend, and saw a good turnout from ESOC.

Scottish Sprint Championships 2018

Stirling University, 10 March

Over 40 ESOC members competed at the Scottish Sprint Championships, which was also the fourth event in the 2018 Scottish Orienteering Urban League, with some great results including 6 class winners. 

  

SOUL 3, 2018

Tweedbank / Melrose, 25 February

The third event in the 2018 Scottish Orienteering Urban League was a double sprint, organised by Roxburgh Reivers, and saw some great results from ESOC, including 3 class winners.

  

British Night Championships 2018

Merthyr Mawr, 24 February

Just a few ESOC members travelled to South Wales for this year’s British Night Championships weekend.

There was another good turnout from ESOC for the third event in this year’s South of Scotland Orienteering League, organised by STAG.

The 2018 Scottish Night Championships were organised by STAG, and there were some good results from ESOC, with 8 class winners despite difficult conditions.
