Club Championships 2011

Our ESOC club championships were held alongside the ESOA championships this year, which were at Dechmont and Deans in Livingston.
The dinner and prize giving was held at Swanston Golf Club, thanks to Alison for organising such an excellent evening! There are a selection of photos in the ESOC gallery

Rona chosen to join World Class Talent Squad

Rona Lindsay has been chosen to join the British Orienteering World Class Talent Squad


Rona has some fantastic performances at EYOC

After a bad start in the long race, a big mistake on the first control, Rona pulled through to have an outstanding run in the relay to help the team to 4th place, narrowly missing out on a medal.  She finished the competition off with an excellent run to come 12th in the sprint race on Sunday, top British female!

Rona selected for EYOC

The British Orienteering website has just been updated with the GB team for European Youth Orienteering Championships. On the list is Rona Lindsay of ESOC, showing that her recent excellent form was indeed enough to catch the eye of the selectors.  Congratulations, Rona!
