Rona Lindsay has been chosen to join the British Orienteering World Class Talent Squad
After a bad start in the long race, a big mistake on the first control, Rona pulled through to have an outstanding run in the relay to help the team to 4th place, narrowly missing out on a medal. She finished the competition off with an excellent run to come 12th in the sprint race on Sunday, top British female!
ESOC juniors were among the prizewinners at the Scottish Schools’ Orienteering Festival, at Palacerigg Country Park near Cumbernauld.

Congratulations to both!
The British Orienteering website has just been updated with the GB team for European Youth Orienteering Championships. On the list is Rona Lindsay of ESOC, showing that her recent excellent form was indeed enough to catch the eye of the selectors. Congratulations, Rona!
Helen Bridle was once again selected for the top National Squad, which has taken a re-branding this year, now called the ‘World Class National Squad’.
Rona, Andrew and Craig selected to represent the Scottish Junior Squad (ScotJOS).
