This was the first Scottish Orienteering League event after the summer break, and it had a great turnout of ESOC members, many of whom had been at the Scottish Inter Club Team Relays the previous day.

Sunday 23rd August 2009 : Britain’s equal second best placing in a Long Distance race at the World Championships.
What a week - great areas with amazing variety across the six days, lively arenas, no mud in the car parks, plenty of socialising in the sunshine and ESOC success both organisationally and in the orienteering.
Hope everyone who attended the event enjoyed themselves, lots of ESOC members were in attendance at the event and everyone seemed to have a great time.
A selection of pictures are available in the gallery (link above) which will give you a flavour of the event!
