A few enthusiastic ESOC members went to the final event in STAG’s winter score series, the Knoll Kollection.
Despite snow and ice, many ESOC regulars competed at this event and had an excellent day.
The weekend of 24/25 January saw two very different events in the heart of Edinburgh; the Edinburgh City Race and a SoSOL event on Arthur’s Seat. There was a great ESOC turnout for both days, with 2 winners in the City Race.
The first South of Scotland Orienteering League event of 2009, organised by STAG, was well-attended, with ESOC members competing successfully in most classes.
A handful of ESOC members braved the weather to compete at the second score event in STAG’s winter series.
ESOC took the top 2 places in both men’s and women’s classes at the first event in STAG’s winter score series.
2009 got off to a good start with the ESOC annual New Year orienteering and social.
There was a big turnout from ESOC for the East Lothian Orienteers’ seasonal event at Vogrie Country Park, including some prizewinners.
The squad has just been announced and includes five ESOC juniors; congratulations and good luck to all in 2009.
ESOC members won prizes at this annual fun event, held at Scone Palace. There was a fairy tale and fantasy theme for bonus questions to boost your score.
A small band of ESOC members competed in the 10th Glasgow Parks Championships, with races in 3 different Glasgow parks, on a cold, frosty morning.
