Rarely has one of our activities been received with such tremendous enthusiasm. The concept attracted some people who had an idea what to expect, and an equal number who didn't! All threw themselves wholeheartedly into it. Here are some of their comments:
"Brilliant fun tonight. Thank you Keith and Karena, Really interesting route choices and a different challenge, plus a great setting - loved it"
"Thanks for a cracking evening last night".
"Mistakes definitely costly, as I found out the hard way".
"Amazing event; and let's not forget the brand new MTBO map created for it. If you missed it tonight, you really did miss out!"
"That was the business Keith! Combining two great sports.....".
"Thank you to Keith for mapping it, planning it, organising it, instructing us and giving us great courses".
"Definitely fancy more of this".
We are immensely grateful to Keith Dawson for opening up these new horizons, He writes:
"Thanks to everyone. Glad everyone had such fun and all back safely. Have to hand it to you guys; you all coped with the new twin challenge of mtb biking on tricky trails AND reading a detailed map very well and with great enthusiasm. Hats off to all!

There will be four world class races starting on Friday evening, with courses for all abilities and experience. Some glorious terrain and foot Orienteers will be familiar with Anagach, Altyre and Darnaway. Fantastic maps and planning by Steve Smirthwaite who has been involved in two sets of WOC Foot O maps. It incorporates the British MTBO Champs. Not to be missed! Entries on SIEntries and details on the Moravian OC website.
