British Sprint & Middle Distance Championships 2017Milton Keynes/Aylesbury, 30 September/1 October
Just a few ESOC members travelled south to Buckinghamshire for these major events, with some great results, including a podium place at both the Sprint and the Middle.
Highland WOLF 2017Speyside, 23/24 September
Many ESOC members travelled north for this weekend of varied orienteering, including the 9th event in the 2017 Scottish Orienteering Urban League, and the 5th event in the 2017 Scottish Orienteering League.
SoSOL5, 2017Cademuir Hill, 17 September
The fifth event in the 2017 South of Scotland Orienteering League was organised by ESOC, and there was a good turnout both to help and to compete, with some great results.

The eighth event in the 2017 Scottish Orienteering Urban League series was presented by Forth Valley Orienteers, in Dunblane.

2017 Home Internationals Selections
ESOC members have been selected for the Scottish teams at all of the forthcoming Home Internationals.

There was a modest turnout from ESOC for the seventh event in the 2017 Scottish Orienteering Urban League, which was organised by STAG.

These Aliens had landed in Glen Tanar. They worked on the Day 1 string course before agreeing to be rehomed (for money) to raise money for the Scottish Junior Squad
August Social 2017 - Manor Valley RunMonday 7 August
ESOC's annual outing to the Manor Valley - a super fine night for running and taking in the magnificent views.
SOUL 6, 2017Ballater, 2 August
The sixth event in the 2017 Scottish Orienteering Urban League was organised by the Sprint Scotland team, with assistance from SEDS and ScotJOS. It was held on the Rest Day of the Scottish 6 Days, and consequently had a much larger entry than previous SOUL events.
6-Days Social 2017Tuesday 1 August
A good crowd of ESOC members got together for a social during the Scottish 6 Days, at the end of Day 3.
Royal Deeside 2017 - Scottish 6 Days30 July - 5 August
There were more than 60 competitors from ESOC at the 2017 Scottish 6 Days, with some great results.
