JK 2017SE England, 14-17 April
The Jan Kjellström Festival of Orienteering took place in several locations in south east England: London, the South Downs National Park, the Sussex High Weald and Ashdown Forest. 25 ESOC members competed in the individual events.

Double Dukes weekendSouth Achray/Trossachs, 1/2 April
ESOC turned out in force for Forth Valley Orienteers’ double-header weekend, featuring events on both sides of the Dukes Pass, including the second Scottish Orienteering League event of 2017.

Roxburgh Reivers presented the fourth South of Scotland Orienteering League event of this year’s series, on a warm spring day. There was a good ESOC attendance, with some great results.
Midlands Championships Weekend 2017Warwickshire, 25/26 March
A few ESOC members travelled south for two contrasting events at the Warwickshire Orienteering Weekend organised by Octavian Droobers, and had some great results.

British Night Championships 2017Great Tower Wood, 25 February
A few intrepid ESOC members competed at the British Night Championships in the Lake District, followed by the Northern Championships the next day.
Scottish Sprint Championships 2017Lossiemouth, Sunday 19 February
There was a fair turnout of ESOC competitors for the Scottish Sprint Championships, which was also the third event in the 2017 Scottish Orienteering Urban League.
Scottish Night Championships 2017Darnaway East, Saturday 18 February
The 2017 Scottish Night Championships, organised by Moravian Orienteers, saw some good results from ESOC in challenging terrain.
