Games@theHub, 2022Forrester High School, 21 June

Orienteering, provided by ESOC, featured in the annual day of sports for Primary 6 pupils in Edinburgh.

“ESOC had a rather late invite to run activities at this year's Games@theHub, at Forrester's High School on Tuesday 21st June. This is the annual day of sport for primary 6 pupils organised by Active Schools Edinburgh. Nevertheless we managed to fly the new ESOC feather flag and gave a taster to 142 pupils in total from Hillwood, Carrick Knowe, St Marks, Clovenstone, Colinton and Forthview Primary Schools.

The format this year was that schools would rotate around different stations getting a 40 minute taster of each of the activities on offer.

Roger led Bing-O, which gave pupils a bit of freedom to explore the south part of the campus whilst avoiding other activities. Maja, Judy and David ran the mirror image mazes that we have used before.”
