SoSOL3 - Tentsmuir Forest

A crisp frosty day saw a lower than usual ESOC turnout at the 3rd event of the 2008-9 South of Scotland Orienteering League.

Fog over the Forth gave way to sunny conditions as we headed further north into Fife, and there were lovely views. This was KFO’s 30th birthday event, in the south part of Tentsmuir Forest. It was very cold, but luckily there was no wind, and there was amazing frost on the trees. There was no mud at all this time, but some fearsome ditches to cross, and intricate navigation among the forested dunes. Top ten places for ESOC members were as follows:
Yellow – Anna Ryan
Light Green – David Matthews, Fiona Findlay
Green – Mark Wood
Blue – Andrew Lindsay, Craig Nolan
Brown – Tom Ryan
