STAG Winter Score 3, 2017Drumpellier Country Park, 12 February

A few ESOC members competed at STAG’s third winter score event.

Drumpellier Country Park is on the edge of Coatbridge, east of Glasgow, and has a wide variety of terrain around a loch, including mixed woodlands, open grassland and lowland heath, with a good network of paths and tracks and some gentle hills.

As at STAG's previous winter score events, there was a time limit of 60 minutes, with 25 controls, whose points value ranged from 300 to 700, with a maximum possible score of 12,500 points.

ESOC members in the top half of the results (35 competitors) were:
Martin Quirke – 6th (10,800 points)
Les Dalgleish – 10th (8,800 points)
Finlay Ross – 12th (8,190 points)
Margaret Dalgleish – 15th (8,000 points)
Heidi Ross – 18th (7,350 points)
