Stirling, 15 October
SOUL 10 was part of FVO’s Stirling City Race weekend, alongside the Euromeeting international and World Ranking races. ESOC’s Helen Bridle and Rachel Brown were in the Great Britain team for Euromeeting. See this page on the Scottish Orienteering website for a full report from Euromeeting.
The event centre was at the 17th Century Cowane’s Hospital, just below Stirling Castle, with the start nearby. The courses zig-zagged around the Old Town, up and down alleyways and through courtyards, with plenty of route choice. The longest courses visited open ground north of the castle. The finish arena was on an old bowling green beside the event centre, with good close views of the final control and run-in.
The weather was cool but sunny.

M Vet (15) - Luigi Lerose 5th
W Supervet (24) - Helena Nolan 4th
