ESOC Club Championships 2025Beecraigs West, 15 November
The new club champions have been decided!
The 2025 ESOC Club Championships took place in conjunction with an FVO Local event, which was also the Forth Valley Orienteers Club Championships. Beecraigs is a country park west of Edinburgh, to the south of Linlithgow. The Assembly area was near the pond at Balvormie, and the Start was a few minutes’ walk further south. Junior courses headed northwards to the finish, which was close to Assembly, while senior courses snaked around Witch Craig before turning north. The terrain included deciduous woodland, rough open with good views, conifer plantation, and marshes, with plenty of paths and tracks.

Junior:
- Novice Junior (M/W10) – Ivy Naylor

- Junior Boy (M12) – Seb Bleakley (M10)
- Senior Girl (W14) – Emma Daley
- Senior Boy (M14) – William Atkinson
- Experienced Junior Girl (W16) – Alexis Gow
- Experienced Junior Boy (M16) – Calum Robertson
- Senior Girl (W18) – Megan Brown
- Best Junior on a Senior Course – Calum Robertson
Senior:
- Men's Open – Sarah Crawford W35
- Women's Open – Rachael Imrie W40
- Veteran Men – Mark Rowe M50
- Veteran Women – Emma Anderson W55
- Overall Superveteran winner – Eleanor Pyrah W80
Best Newcomer – Rachael Imrie W40
Most Improved – Emma Daley & William Atkinson
The trophy winners were announced at the Club Championships social. This was held at the West Port Hotel, Linlithgow, soon after the event.
