British Orienteering Junior Selections 2023
ESOC Junior selected again for international competitions!
Following some great results at recent events, Rachel Brown (EUOC/ESOC) has been selected for the Great Britain team for both the 2023 Junior World Orienteering Championships and the 2023 Junior European Cup.
JWOC will take place in Baia Mare, Romania, 1 - 9 July 2023. This competition involves a sprint, mixed sprint relay, middle, long and forest relay. The aim is to select athletes who are performance-based and have demonstrated that they can deliver top 20 results at JWOC, either immediately or in future years.
JEC will be in Virton, Belgium, 26 - 28 August, with a forest middle, long and relay. In order to select the strongest team, priority was given to those athletes who are on a strong trajectory for international success.
