It's Fun to be Fifty!
Our Anniversary Weekend was a great success, with two events and a ceilidh in between.
We welcomed friends and visitors from far and wide, with demanding courses at Riccarton, a ceilidh with Anniversary cake, and a well received SoSOL at Dalkeith.
We received good wishes on our Anniversary from Margaret and Sandy Robertson, Sandy being a founder member, from Morris Conlan, and John and Sally Morris. It was great to see the whole age range at the Ceilidh, from long-standing members who no longer take an active part in orienteering to the very youngest who are just beginning to discover what it’s all about. We had competitors from WAOC, CLARO, WCOC, MOR, INVOC and many clubs much nearer to Edinburgh.
Our thanks go to everyone who helped in any way at our events and ceilidh, and to all those who attended at any time. An exhausting process but well worth the effort.
Photos from the weekend can be seen in the following albums in ESOC's Google Album Archive.
