ESOC at the 2019 Home Internationals

There were ESOC members in the Scotland teams for all of this year’s Home International competitions.

The Home Internationals are annual competitions between selected teams from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, with an individual event and a relay over a weekend, plus a social event on the Saturday evening. There are 3 different competitions: the Junior Home International (JHI) for M/W14-18, the Senior Home International (SHI) for M/W20-21, and the Veteran Home International (VHI) for M/W35-65.

The 2019 SHI took place on 7/8 September on the Gower Peninsula, South Wales, with complex sand dune terrain and great weather for both days. ESOC’s Laura Robertson was in the Scotland team. In the individual event she came 3rd in W21E, and in the relay she ran 1st leg in the winning women's team. England won the overall competition.
