ESOC Club Championships 2014

The 2014 Club Championships trophies were presented at the Club Championships social on 9 November - congratulations to all this year's winners!

The 2014 Club Championships winners are:

Junior:

Junior Boy - Gregor Mackay
Experienced Junior Boy - David McPhillips
Senior Boy - Ben Brown

Senior:
Men's Open - Andrew Lindsay
Veteran Men - Mark Wood
Veteran Women - Janice Nisbet
Ultraveteran - Eleanor Pyrah

Most Improved Orienteer - Maggie Scrugham
Best Newcomer - Andrew Waller

The following trophies were not awarded this year: Junior Girl, Experienced Junior Girl, Senior Girl, Women's Open, and the Pentland Trophy (for best junior performance on a senior course).

The Junior Club Championships were held at Holyrood Park on Saturday 4 October.

These scores were worked out from minutes per kilometre, taking account of climb. For the Veteran and Ultraveteran classes, the speed was further adjusted, to take account of age and gender. People with no position shown are those who were not competitive, because they didn't have a score in all 3 categories.
