ESOC Incorporate as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO)

The assets of the club were formally transferred to the new SCIO on Saturday 14 March 2020.

As you will know from previous communications on the topic, we have been going through the process of incorporating the club as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO). This is primarily with a view to obtaining limited liability status, with the associated peace of mind that goes with that, as well as giving us access to other funding opportunities by being a charity.

The assets of the club were formally transferred to the new SCIO on Saturday 14 March 2020, all in line with the resolutions passed at our AGM on 22nd October 2020. All activities of the club from 14 March 2019 are being operated by the new SCIO and not by the previous club.
