David Robertson's report of the February Zoom social.

Great fun last night at the Club Social Zoom hosted by the Rowe family. We had fun games guessing the committee member from a brief O related biography, guessing the ESOC mapped areas from a Google Earth view and a scavenger hunt for bits of O kit.

We had lots of laughs and there was great chat about our Seven Hills Challenge, which ends next Sunday. Well done Helena and Alison, who had run the Edinburgh route earlier yesterday, and to West Lothian compleatists Anne and Christine. This stimulated a sharing of 7 Hills Race and Challenge beeermats from over the years.

Walter updated us with interesting news about forthcoming activities like the March MapRun Challenge at Corstorphine Hill, from 13th March, and a Pentlands Long-O. Janet took every opportunity to remind us of ESOC goodies still available for sale (hats and hand gel). Huge thanks to the Rowes and well done top performer Alison for scooping the Craig a Barns jigsaw prize!
