June Social - Monday 7 June
A promising start but disappointing end to the Pentland Skyline Run. The day had been damp but optimistically seemed to be brightening as we set off from 9 Mile Burn, but the clouds descended and maps were consulted for reassurance as the mists swirled about us. Perhaps even more of a sense of achievement then that all 12 and a half (Bill took an alternative route!) of us completed the run! A drink at The Steading for a few - the Flotterstone Inn having closed early - presumably a pub not frequented in bad weather!
