Report of the October Social at the Caldwells

Many thanks to Jackie, Martin and Andie for organising a very enjoyable social at their house on the Lanark Road on Monday. About 20 club members turned out on a dry, cool, blustery evening. Martin had planned 2 courses – short and long – around the streets of Currie and as usual the local residents must have been a little surprised to see us running around with head torches, closely inspecting various lampposts, post-boxes etc. – what could possibly be so interesting? Winners on the day were Andrew Lindsay, followed by Mehmet then Rona on the long course and Ian followed by Alison then Rachel on the short.
