SOL3 - Dallaschyle, 8 May 2011

The INVOC Scottish Orienteering League event had a lower turnout than usual for a SOL, due to being so far north. There was a reasonable ESOC turnout however, with some good results.

Dallaschyle is near Cawdor, east of Inverness, and is familiar to some from the Moray 2003 6 Day event. It’s an area of mixed woodland on several small hills and glens, with some complex rock features and contour detail providing a challenge for many. The weather was sunny on the whole, with some sharp showers.
