SOL3 - Teviothead, near Hawick
Many ESOC members travelled south for the third Scottish Orienteering League event, with some excellent results.
This enjoyable SOL event was organised by Roxburgh Reivers, and took place on open grassy hills, with some long climbs, great views, interesting contour detail in places, and a very steep downhill finish. The weather was mostly dry, with a few short showers, and the ground was quite dry underfoot, making for some fast times.

Black (7 finishers) – Tom Ryan 2nd
Brown (14) – Mark McLeod 5th
Blue (55) – Andy McLeod 11th, Helena Nolan 16th, Dave Kershaw 22nd,
Roger Scrutton 23rd, Andrew Lindsay 24th, Les Dalgleish 25th
Short Blue (41) – Chris McLeod 5th, Ian Pyrah 11th, Neil Williams 16th,
Alison Cunningham 17th, Maggie Scrugham 19th, Janice Nisbet 21st
