SoSOL10 - Craigallian, Milngavie

A glorious morning saw a multitude of ESOC competitors at this CLYDE event, which was also the Scottish qualifying round for the CompassSport Cup / Trophy.

The sun shone, and lots of people turned up for the 10th South of Scotland Orienteering League event. Craigallian is just across the road from Mugdock Country Park – it’s a challenging area, half coniferous plantation and half open moorland, with some steep rocky slopes, deep marshes, and lots of mud (again). As it was the CompassSport Cup / Trophy round too, there were more courses than usual. Most found their courses quite hard going, and there were long times as well as some mispunches.
