SOUL 10, 2022Bridge of Allan, 15 October

Forth Valley Orienteers organised the tenth event in the 2022 Scottish Orienteering Urban League, and there were some good results from ESOC competitors.

Bridge of Allan is just north of Stirling, and the SOUL10 event centre was at Bridge of Allan Parish Church. The map covered varied terrain, including the old town centre, residential estates, parkland, playing fields, and some woodland. The start was on the flat ground to the south of the main road, and senior courses crossed the road onto some steep slopes. Most courses also had some controls to the west of the Allan Water, and the Finish was on the east bank.
The weather was wet, unfortunately.
