SOL 1 2026 - Dunachtonmore, KincraigSunday 12th April
The first SOL of 2026, in an area adjacent to the Highland Wildlife Park, saw a good turn out and strong results from ESOC members, with Sally Lindsay 3rd on Short Green and 8 others in the top 10 of their course.
JK 2026 - Day 4 - Relays TullochroiskMonday 6th April
ESOC fielded 2 teams in the mini relay and 10 adult teams in various categories on the final day of the JK. This concluded a very successful and well attended series of events, with ESOC having 12 different podium finishers, some achieving this more than once, and overall 62 top 10 finishes.
JK 2026 Day 3 - Long distance Rannoch ForestSunday 5th April
The 2nd day for the overall JK podium saw juniors make ESOC proud. Ingrid & Kirstin came 1st & 2nd in W10A, Emma Daley 2nd in W14A, Simon Hindle 3rd in M10B. They were followed by Mary Williams 3rd on W75L. Just missing out were Hamish Mair 4th on M10A, Helena Nolan & Sally Lindsay 5th o
JK 2026 - Day 2 - Middle Distance Rannoch ForestSaturday 4th April
The middle distance race, in very changeable conditions, saw 6 ESOC competitors on the podium and several others in the top 10.
JK 2026 - Day 1 - Sprint Perth City CentreFriday 3rd April
On the opening sprint day of the Jan Kjellstrom International festival of orienteering, ESOC had 7 competitors on the podium. The sprint was held in the centre of Perth and ESOC provided many marshals around the course.
Croy Hill SoSOL 2026Sunday 15th March
The 3rd event in the South of Scotland Orienteering League (SoSOL) was hosted by Clydeside Orienteers at Croy Hill, the site of a Roman fortlet on the Antonine Wall.
British Orienteering Championships 2026South Wales, 28 February-1 March
It was a long journey to this year’s British Championships weekend, so there was a low turnout from ESOC, but competitors enjoyed the events and had some good results.
Scottish Middle Championships 2026Saturday 21st February
ESOC had 7 competitors on the podium and a further 5 in the top 5 at the Scottish Middle Championships held in The Trossachs. Well done to Calum Robertson and Mary Williams who both came 1st in their age class.

Another successful day for ESOC as 9 competitors made it onto today’s podium, with a further 3 just missing out in 4th. There was a small ESOC contingent, with a few medal winners, at this year’s Scottish Night Championships, hosted by Mar Orienteering Club.
Kippendavie SoSOLSunday 8th February
The second of ten events in the South of Scotland Orienteering League was held on Sunday 8th February on the Kippendavie Estate near Dunblane.
British Night ChampsSaturday 7th February 2026
This year's British Night Championship was held on in Hertfordshire with a few ESOC members travelling to take part in the night and following day events.
Edinburgh Big Weekend 202623rd - 25th January
EUOC's annual weekend showcasing all aspects of orienteering within Edinburgh. There are 4 separate races - night on Friday, urban on Saturday, classic and sprint on Sunday.
Christmas Cup 2025Loch Ard December 2025
