JK Festival of Orienteering 2025South Yorkshire 18th - 21st April
Around 35 ESOC members made the journey south to participate in the annual JK this Easter, some taking part in all 4 days and some just one or two. There were a number of successes, including on the final day of relays when no fewer than 7 ESOC members ended up with medals round their necks!
SOL 2, 2025Limerigg, 13 April
FVO presented the second event in the 2025 Scottish Orienteering League, on a new map of the forest at Limerigg village, south of Falkirk.
SoSOL 4, 2025South Achray, 12 April
The fourth event in the 2025 South of Scotland Orienteering League was a Middle Distance race, organised by Masterplan Adventure, with just 10 competitors from ESOC.
SoSOL 3, 2025Calder Wood, 6 April
The third event in the 2025 South of Scotland Orienteering League took place near Livingston, organised by Interløpers. It was originally planned for exactly one year earlier, but had to be postponed due to Storm Kathleen. This year the weather was a complete contrast.
Scottish Sprint Championships / SOUL 3 2025Tweedbank, 5 April
Roxburgh Reivers hosted this year’s Scottish Sprint Championships, followed by another race which was the third event in the 2025 Scottish Orienteering Urban League.
Scottish Middle Distance Championships and SOL 1, 2025Dallaschyle and Lady Culbin, 22-23 March
Around 30 ESOC members made the trip north to compete in the Scottish Middle Champs on Saturday, followed by the first Scottish Orienteering League race of 2025 on Sunday. Medallists from the ESOC contingent included two junior members.
British Middle Distance Championships 2025West Sussex, 15 March
The British Middle Distance Championships this year were in the deep south - just 6 ESOC competitors made the journey.
CompassSport Trophy Heats, 2025Kinnoull Hill, 23 February
