Scottish Night Championships 2026Muir of Dinnet, 14 February
There was a small ESOC contingent, with a few medal winners, at this year’s Scottish Night Championships, hosted by Mar Orienteering Club.
Kippendavie SoSOL
The second of ten events in the South of Scotland Orienteering League was held on Sunday 8th February on the Kippendavie Estate near Dunblane.
British Night Champs
This year's British Night Championship was held on Saturday 7th February in Hertfordshire with a few ESOC members travelling to take part in the night and day events.
Hugely popular East of Scotland Coaching Day
The orienteering clubs in the East of Scotland region joined together for a successful coaching day on Sunday. TD1 and 2 were based in Meadowfield Park, while those TD3 and above were on Whinny Hill.

Edinburgh Big Weekend 2026
EUOC's annual weekend showcasing all aspects of orienteering within Edinburgh. There are 4 separate races - night on Friday, urban on Saturday, classic and sprint on Sunday.
Hair of the Dog social - 2026Fri 2 January 2026
ESOC members were quick out of the blocks again in 2026, and as is traditional kicked the year off in style with the Hair of the Dog shenanigans - a wee bit of orienteering to clear the heads, some indoor games, food and socialising!
Christmas Cup 2025Loch Ard December 2025
The 2025 Christmas Cup in the Trossachs area took place in frosty but beautifully sunny conditions at the end of December.
