TAY Christmas Score event 2009Muirward Wood, 13 December
Once again, ESOC members won prizes at this annual fun event, held at Muirward Wood, near Perth. There were Christmas-themed bonus questions to boost your score.

The 11th Glasgow Parks Championships, with races in 3 different Glasgow parks, saw a good turnout from ESOC, and prizewinners in two of the classes.

A weekend of contrasting conditions saw several ESOC members among the winners at the 22nd Tinto Twin competition.
East of Scotland Championships - 25 October 2009
There was a good turnout of ESOC members for the ESOA Championships at West Lomond Hill, with plenty of trophy winners.
World Masters Orienteering Championships 2009, Sydney
Four ESOC members went to Australia for WMOC 2009: Ian Pyrah (club captain), Eleanor Pyrah, Janice Nisbet and Brian Yates.

ESOC was well-represented at the Saturday event of the Autumn in Aberdeenshire weekend (2 Scottish Orienteering League events back-to-back).
Scottish Sprint Championships - Lossiemouth, 26 September 2009
Only a few ESOC members ventured north for this event, but they thought the trip was well worthwhile, and 5 of them won prizes.
SOL4 - Dalnamein, near Blair Atholl - 20 September 2009
This was the first Scottish Orienteering League event after the summer break, and it had a great turnout of ESOC members, many of whom had been at the Scottish Inter Club Team Relays the previous day.
