STAG Winter Score 1, Pollok Park, 3 January 2010

There were blue skies and snow underfoot for STAG’s first winter score event of 2010.

A handful of ESOC members went to this score event at Pollok Park, on the South side of Glasgow. There was a time limit of 60 minutes, and many people visited all the controls, in the varied terrain of Glasgow’s largest park.
ESOC results were:
Mark Wood – 10,700 points (maximum)
Heather Thomson – 10,100 points
Les Dalgleish – 9,800 points
Margaret Dalgleish – 9,500 points

This was originally the first event in a series of three, but unfortunately the second and third events had to be cancelled, due to snow and ice and parking issues.
