A few ESOC members competed at the 4th London City Race, with some great results.

This year’s event was reported to be the best yet, taking place in the financial heart of the city, much of it newly-mapped. Courses visited the infamous multi-level Barbican Centre as well as taking competitors through contrasting historic streets and areas of modern office blocks.

ESOC results were as follows:
Women’s Long (90 competitors) – Steph Moss 44th
Men’s Vet (115) – Simon Moss 89th
Women’s Supervet (67) – Janice Nisbet 19th
Men’s Ultravet (101) – Dave Kershaw 11th, Ian Pyrah 29th=, Brian Yates 77th.
Women’s Ultravet (44) Eleanor Pyrah 12th
