Park World Tour 2017

Brilliant results for ESOC member Laura Robertson in this international competition.

The Park World Tour is an annual series of park orienteering races, which started in 1996 with the aim of publicising orienteering by bringing orienteers into the cities, with good media coverage. The 2017 series is in China, in conjunction with Beijing O Week. The races are described as having beautiful scenery in varying surroundings.

Laura Robertson was competing. The programme was:
24 October – Race 1 (Sprint), Red Temple, Huairou
27 October – Race 2 (Middle), Forest Park of Green Dragon Lake
29 October – Race 3 (Sprint), Green Dragon Lake
30 October – Race 4 (Sprint), Old Summer Palace
31 October – Race 5 (Sprint), Linqigu, Langfang

Laura had excellent results, coming 2nd in Race 1, 3rd in race 2, and 2nd in Races 3, 4 and 5.
