Scottish Night Championships 2013Mugdock Country Park, 23 February

Only a few ESOC members braved Mugdock in the dark, with some good results nevertheless.

Mugdock Country Park is just north of Milngavie, handy for those who had been to the urban race in the afternoon. The event was based at the visitor centre, which had a welcome café, and the start was just outside in the courtyard. The area includes managed country park, woodland and moorland, two ruined castles and some intricate terrain, with a good path network throughout.
The weather was cold but fine, with an almost full moon.

ESOC results were as follows:
Course 2 - Terry Johnstone 9th
Course 3 - Crawford Lindsay 6th
Course 4 - Sally Lindsay 2nd (1st W55)
Course 5 - Roger Scrutton 1st, Ian Pyrah 3rd, Eleanor Pyrah 7th, Janet Clark 9th, and Jim Clark unfortunately mispunched.

Full results, Routegadget and further details about the event are available on the CLYDE website.
