SOL 1 - 2013Gullane Dunes, 3 March
The first event in the 2013 Scottish Orienteering League was organised by Interløpers, on the East Lothian coast, and had a good ESOC attendance.
The Gullane map includes open complex dunes, mature pine woods and complicated paths through thick sea buckthorn scrub, with some challenging navigation. Underfoot conditions were mainly dry, which made a pleasant change. The weather was fine, though cloudy, and there were some very fast runs.

Brown (38 competitors) – Claire Ward 2nd, Craig Nolan 5th, Andrew Lindsay 12th, Helen Bridle 17th, Ray Ward 19th
Blue (82) – Crawford Lindsay 21st, Rona Lindsay 30th, Fran Daley 36th
Short Blue (47) – Roger Scrutton 2nd, Alastair lessells 14th, Ian Pyrah 16th, Gill Martin 17th, Ben Bate 22nd, Helena Nolan 23rd=
