SoSOL 2 - 2010/11Cloberfield, 19 September

A smaller than usual ESOC contingent braved the weather at the second event in this season’s South of Scotland Orienteering League, with good results, including a win on the Blue course.

This event was organised by Clydeside Orienteers. Cloberfield is near Milngavie, north of Glasgow, and has varied terrain including areas of moorland, woodland, and managed country park, with plenty of paths. Unfortunately there was atrocious weather and very wet underfoot conditions.

ESOC members in the top half of the results were:
Brown (13 competitors) – Alistair Hindle 5th, Clive Masson 7th
Blue (25) – Mark Wood 1st
Green (24) – Simon Firth 12th
White (6) – Kerry Wood 2nd
