SoSOL3 - 2011/12Lothian Edge, 26 February

A large ESOC contingent enjoyed the third South of Scotland Orienteering League event of this year, organised by ELO.

Lothian Edge is on the hills above Dunbar in East Lothian. The terrain is very open moorland with beautiful views to the coast, and a lovely little section of old woodland. Fine weather and unusually dry ground made it highly runnable and enjoyable, and there was a good string course too.

ESOC competitors in the top half of the results were:

Blue (24) – Keith Brown 10th, Dave Kershaw 12th
Green (32) – Roger Garnett 3rd, Alastair Lessells 3rd, Janice Nisbet 8th, Rachel Fawthrop 14th
Lime (9) – David Matthews 1st
Orange (9) – Margaret Dalgleish 1st
Yellow (12) – Rachel Brown 2nd
