The third event in this season’s South of Scotland Orienteering League unfortunately had to be postponed due to bad weather, but the fourth event, organised by ELO, enjoyed glorious conditions in the Lammermuirs, with a good turnout from ESOC.
Lothian Edge is on the northern side of the Lammermuir Hills, south of Dunbar. The terrain is mostly open moorland, with some steep slopes and complex contours, lots of gorse bushes, and woodland on the longest courses. The weather was clear and sunny, with excellent views.
ESOC members in the top half of the results were:
