SOUL 6 - 2012Dunblane, 20 October

ESOC’s urban enthusiasts enjoyed the final event in the 2012 Scottish Orienteering Urban League, organised by FVO.

The 6th SOUL event of the year was on Saturday 20 October, in Dunblane, with an interesting variety of terrain including new housing estates, the old town centre and some very wet and muddy open spaces and woods. The weather was fine and mild.

ESOC members in the top half of the results were:
M Open (24 competitors) - Andrew Dalgleish 9th, Alistair Hindle 11th, Andrew Lindsay 12th
W Open (17) – Rona Lindsay 9th
M SuperVet (19) – Roger Scrutton 4th, Crawford Lindsay 5th,
M UltraVet (7) – Ian Pyrah 3rd
W Vet (23) – Alison Cunningham 7th
W SuperVet (17) – Janice Nisbet 1st, Sally Lindsay 3rd
M12- (10) – Ben Brown 3rd
W12- (9) – Kerry Wood 4th


The prizegiving for the overall series was held the next day at SOL6, with buffs for the winners and certificates for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
