The third Scottish Orienteering Urban League event of the year was organised by Clydeside Orienteers, in Erskine, west of Glasgow, and was an excellent event with some good results from ESOC runners.

A fair number of ESOC members travelled to Ayrshire for the Scottish Championships individual event, with some great results; unfortunately, less than half could stay on for the relays.

Dorking Urban Event6 May 2013
Most of the ESOC contingent stayed on after the British Championships for another day, and enjoyed the Dorking Urban Event, presented by Mole Valley Orienteering Club.
British Orienteering Championships 2013Surrey Hills, 4/5 May
This year, the British Long and Relay Championships were in the far south of England, and ESOC was represented by a small band of enthusiasts.
SOL 3 - 2013Clunie, 28 April
The third event in this year’s Scottish Orienteering League was jointly organised by ESOC and STAG, and had a great ESOC turnout.

A small ESOC contingent enjoyed these major events in the Midlands, with some excellent results.

Scottish Sprint Championships 2013Aberdeen, 6 April 2013
The Scottish Sprint Championships was organised this year by GRAMP, in an interesting 2 race format, and there were several ESOC members amongst the winners.

FVO Middle & SOL 2 weekendTulliallan/Trossachs, 16/17 March 2013
The 3rd and 4th events in the new UK Orienteering League were presented by Forth Valley Orienteers, in tough terrain. Sunday’s event was also the 2nd in this year’s Scottish Orienteering League.
