Scottish Score Championships 2012Drumlanrig Woods, 18 November
ESOC members won another fine haul of trophies at this year’s Scottish Score Championships.

There was a good turnout from ESOC for the East of Scotland Championships, with plenty of trophies. This event was also the ESOC Club Championships.
Tinto Twin 2012 / SOL 7Carmichael Estate/Dreva & Muckle Muir, 27/28 October
The 25th Tinto Twin competition saw ESOC members win a good selection of trophies.

The penultimate event in the 2012 Scottish Orienteering League was organised by CLYDE in Aberfoyle, and turned out to be very rough and tough.

ESOC’s urban enthusiasts enjoyed the final event in the 2012 Scottish Orienteering Urban League, organised by FVO.

There was a great ESOC turnout for Interløpers’ double header weekend in Livingston, in beautiful autumn weather, with some excellent results.

Sterling performances from ESOC team members, in atrocious conditions, secured 6th place against some very tough competition - well done to all!
Carlisle Urban Event29 September 2012
A few of ESOC’s urban enthusiasts made a weekend of it, competing at the Nopesport Urban League event in Carlisle the day before the CompassSport Cup final.
SOL 5 - 2012Errochty, 23 September
The fifth event in the 2012 Scottish Orienteering League was held in conjunction with the Senior Home International individual event, organised by STAG.
ESOC at the 2012 London City Race22 September
Just 4 ESOC members competed at the 5th London City race, which was reported to be as good as usual.
SOL 4 - 2012Forvie, 9 September
The fourth event in the 2012 Scottish Orienteering League (and first one after the summer break) was organised by Grampian Orienteers. There was a modest turnout from ESOC, perhaps due to the relatively long travelling time.
Purple Thistle 2012Arisaig, 18/19 August
A smaller than usual group of ESOC stalwarts travelled north for the biennial Purple Thistle weekend, which was an excellent event.
SOUL 4 - 2012Strathaven, 12 August
An enthusiastic band of ESOC competitors attended the 4th event in the 2012 Scottish Orienteering Urban League, which was organised by STAG, and there were some great ESOC results.
Croeso 2012Aberystwyth, 22-28 July
Around 20 ESOC members competed at the Welsh 6 Day event, centred on Aberystwyth University, and thoroughly enjoyed the week.
WOC 2012Lausanne, Switzerland, 14 - 21 July
ESOC elites Helen Bridle and Claire Ward were in the GB team at the World Orienteering Championships.
