The fourth event in this year’s Scottish Orienteering Urban League was presented by Roxburgh Reivers, in Tweedbank, between Galashiels and Melrose. There were some great ESOC results.

I find it very hard to find controls in forests, particularly boggy forests. I find them featureless and it's hard to maintain a bearing, so I often get completely confused (and at times have been lost). What can I do to stop this happening?

Moray 2013 - Scottish 6 Days28 July-3 August
The Scottish 6 Days was a week of great orienteering, in 6 different areas on the Moray coast, and was enjoyed by over 60 ESOC members.
Claire anchors Great Britain to 8th in WOC Relay
Cat Taylor and Hollie Orr had great runs on the 1st and 2nd leg of today's relay, handing over to Claire Ward in 5th place. The tough area proved a little too tough for all but Norway and Finland who won gold and silver, with some major mistakes made by all other teams. Claire had a tough day and
Claire 28th in World Championship Middle Distance
This afternoon, Claire showed great potential at the World Orienteering Championships, coming 28th in the Middle Distance final in Vuokatti, Finland. She was running very well but lost time to navigation errors later on in her run.
