SoSOL 1 - 2010/11Devilla Forest, 12 September
The first South of Scotland Orienteering League event of the new season took place on a beautiful day, with a great ESOC attendance and some excellent results.
ESOC at the Park World Tour - 10/11 September 2010
The Park World Tour came to Perth for the weekend, and provided an exciting spectacle as well as a great opportunity for competing on some challenging courses. ESOC’s Claire Ward had outstanding results.
SOL5 - 2010Birsemore - 5 September
The 5th event in the 2010 Scottish Orienteering League was organised by MAROC, at Birsemore, near Aboyne, on Deeside. Since many people were already in the area for the 11-person relay the previous day, there was a good turnout from ESOC.
ESOC at the Lakes 5 event 201022 - 27 August
Around 20 ESOC members went to the Lakes 5 this week, and enjoyed a varied selection of areas, though Day 3 had to be cancelled. In the final results, ESOC had 5 top ten places.
World Masters Orienteering Champs : Long Distance
Following on from Andrew’s report on the Sprint competitions, here is an update on the Long Distance events now that the ESOC contingent has all returned home from Switzerland.

World Masters Orienteering Championships
This week sees the World Masters Orienteering Championships taking place in Switzerland, there are a number of ESOC members taking part. The sprint took place over the weekend with the Long Qualification race tomorrow.
Rona has some fantastic performances at EYOC
After a bad start in the long race, a big mistake on the first control, Rona pulled through to have an outstanding run in the relay to help the team to 4th place, narrowly missing out on a medal. She finished the competition off with an excellent run to come 12th in the sprint race on Sunday, top
Long-O, Ochil Hills - 27 June 2010
A select band of ESOC competitors took part in the Ochils Long-O, with some excellent results.
